Evolving Virtual Ecosystem

2020 - 2022

  • Touchdesigner

  • Compute shaders / GLSL / real-time graphics

  • Autonomous multi-agent system

Developed as part of the CECCI-H2M initiative (Co-Evolution, Co-Creation, and Human-Machine Improvisation) and funded by EUR ArTeC, the Evolving Virtual Ecosystem (E.V.E.) stands as a testament to interactive virtual design. Crafted using compute shaders in TouchDesigner, E.V.E. was specifically designed to serve as an autonomous, interactive backdrop for "Le Mythe d’Immorta" performance. This immersive creation made its debut during an artistic residency at the Centre des Arts d’Enghien-les-Bains in September 2022.

Evolving Virtual Ecosystem :
an autonomous scenography

LE MYTHE D'IMMORTA
A dive between two worlds, one robotic, the other organic.
In a hybrid world, the mutations that take place create two paths,
that of chaos and that of the Tao.
